My Heart Will Go On

James Horner, composer for the hugely successful film "Titanic" (1997, directed by James Cameron) decided to use the instrumental motifs in the film to create a song for the ending of the movie. Cameron was said to be reluctant to the idea to begin with, although was eventually persuaded. "My Heart Will Go On" went on to be the best selling single of 1998, and received many accolades, including a Golden Globe Award in the same year.
